Towering Reply

Listening to the news today, I heard the commentator say that the building at Ground Zero will rise above the Empire State Building today. That announcement prompted this quick sketch, and sentiment.

Swift Decision

This is a comment on President Obama's recent comments about the Supreme Court wherein he inferred that they did not have the authority to overturn law, i.e., declare laws unconstitutional. The court quickly informed "The Professor" that he was wrong, and cited Marbury vs. Madison as the basis of their decision.  Love those Teachable Moments.

A HOT IDEA

Maybe this car was rushed a little to meet the new "alleged demand" for electric cars. Actually I have a fun electric car. It's a golf cart. It goes about twenty-two miles per hour, without a heavy body attached to it (although a heavy body is driving it). However, the important point is being missed here. So what if the car is a fire hazzard, the important thing is that it helps drive the fuhrer's desire to have a "green" vehicle on the market. Once you purchase the Volt, you can drive on over to Solindra to get in on some of those excellent solar panels for your home. Oh, wait, no you can't. Solindra went out of business after The President gave them five hundred million dollars of our tax money. The good news is your house probably won't burn down from a faulty solar panel; just don't park that Volt in the garage. Better to be safe than sorry.
